In-Person Support Group
Our peer-led support groups welcome neurodivergent adults from all walks of life.
We know that everyone communicates differently. Some people enjoy lively, open conversation, while others find it easier to participate when conversations are quieter and more structured.
That’s why our in-person sessions offer two different spaces within the room, and you’re welcome to choose whichever feels most comfortable for you.
Free Talk
One side of the room is our Free Talk space.
This is an open, informal conversation where you can chat freely with other attendees about whatever comes up. There’s no set topic or agenda — it might be neurodivergence, something happening in your life, a shared interest, or something completely random!
You can join in as much or as little as you like.
Quiet Talk
The other side of the room offers a quieter, more structured conversation for anyone who finds busy group discussions difficult, needs more time to process, or simply prefers to know they’ll have space to be heard.
The group uses a ball to help manage the conversation. The person holding the ball has the space to speak, while everyone else actively listens. When they’ve finished, the ball can be passed to the next person who would like to contribute.
There’s no pressure to speak, and you can simply listen if that’s what feels comfortable.
This helps reduce people talking over one another and creates a calmer, more sensory-friendly way to have a group conversation.
Choose What Works for You
There’s no “right” way to take part.
You can choose the space that works best for you, and you’re welcome to move between the two during the session if your needs change.
You don’t need to speak. You don’t need to introduce yourself to the whole room. You don’t need to stay for the entire session.
Come along, participate in whatever way feels comfortable, and take a break whenever you need one.
Important to Know
This is a peer support space, not a clinical service.
No drinks or food are provided, so please feel free to bring your own.
You do not need a formal diagnosis to attend.
The group is open to adults with ADHD, autism and other neurodivergent experiences, including those who self-identify.
You’re very welcome to bring a supportive friend or family member, even if they aren’t neurodivergent themselves.
There is no set agenda and no expectation to share anything you don’t want to.
Most importantly, these sessions are simply a place to meet other people who may understand some of your experiences, share what you want to share, and hopefully leave feeling a little less alone.

NSC Wellbeing Day
We’re excited to be attending the NSC Wellbeing Day at the NSC Isle of Man on Tuesday 13th May as part of Mental Health Awareness Week.
Come along and say hello, find out more about Isle of Neurodiversity, and chat with us about creating more neuroinclusive spaces and support across the Isle of Man.
There’ll be lots of fantastic wellbeing activities throughout the day, as well as opportunities to connect with local charities and organisations supporting our community.
We very much look forward to seeing some of you there!

Neurodiversity at Work: Strength in Difference
What if the challenges people experience at work aren't about ability, but about environment?
Join us for an engaging, experience-led workshop exploring neurodiversity in the workplace and how inclusive environments help people, and organisations, thrive. Through personal stories, discussion, and interactive activities, we'll explore common neurodivergent experiences, the barriers people can face at work, and how small, practical adjustments can unlock strengths and improve wellbeing for everyone.
This session is designed to be reflective, accessible, and relevant to all colleagues, whether you're a manager, team member, or simply curious about creating more inclusive workplaces.
Discover how embracing different ways of thinking can improve collaboration, innovation, and performance across your organisation.
