Training and Education

As Isle of Neurodiversity grows, we are expanding into training and education initiatives designed by neurodiverse people, to improve understanding, inclusion, and support for neurodivergent adults across the Isle of Man. These initiatives focus on sharing lived experience, practical guidance, and accessible learning for workplaces, organisations, and the wider community.

This reflects our ongoing commitment to creating lasting, meaningful change through education.

Our Core Services

  • Practical guidance designed to help organisations understand what neurodiversity is, and how to make their events and spaces neurodiverse friendly. 

    This service focuses on:

    • Understanding common neurodivergent traits (e.g. ADHD, autism, dyslexia)

    • Practical steps to create more inclusive environments for specific events and spaces.

    Suitable for: workplaces, community organisations, volunteers, and frontline staff.

    Chargeable at a rate of £50 donation per consultation.

    This is a minimum donation, amounts above this are very much welcomed, so that we may continue with Isle of Neurodiversity’s initiatives.

  • Introductory training designed to help organisations understand what neurodiversity is, how it shows up in adults, and why inclusion matters.

    This service focuses on:

    • Understanding common neurodivergent traits (e.g. ADHD, autism, dyslexia)

    • Challenging myths and stereotypes

    • Practical steps to create more inclusive environments

    • The benefits of neurodiversity in teams and communities

    Suitable for: workplaces, community organisations, volunteers, and frontline staff.

    Chargeable at a rate of £50 donation per hour, per presenter, with a minimum of one hour per session.

    This is a minimum donation, amounts above this are very much welcomed, so that we may continue with Isle of Neurodiversity’s initiatives.

  • Practical support to help organisations turn understanding into action.

    This service focuses on:

    • Reasonable adjustments and accessibility in the workplace

    • Supporting neurodivergent staff before difficulties escalate

    • Inclusive communication and management approaches

    • Creating policies and practices that work for diverse thinkers

    Suitable for: employers, managers, HR

    Chargeable at a rate of £25 donation per attendee.

    This is a minimum donation, amounts above this are very much welcomed, so that we may continue with Isle of Neurodiversity’s initiatives.

  • Interactive sessions shaped by the lived experience of neurodivergent adults.

    This service focuses on:

    • Real-world experiences of navigating work, healthcare, and society

    • The impact of late diagnosis and masking

    • How environments can either support or disable neurodivergent people

    • Creating empathy, understanding, and lasting change

    Suitable for: businesses, public sector organisations, schools, and community events.

    Chargeable at a rate of £50 donation per hour, per presenter, with a minimum of one hour per session.

Donations to Isle Of Neurodiversity are mandatory for these services, to enable us to continue with our initiatives - please see each individual service description for minimum donation amounts.
