About Us

Aalish is passionate about creating understanding, acceptance, and space for neurodivergent people to thrive. Diagnosed with ADHD and Autism in her late 20’s, she brings both lived experience and professional insight to her role at Isle of Neurodiversity.

As an Associate Director (Working primarily in change and journey management) at a major bank, Aalish understands both the challenges neurodivergent individuals face in the workplace as well as the strengths they can bring to the business. She advocates for inclusive practices that recognise the value of different ways of thinking and believes that truly diverse teams are stronger, more creative, and more successful.

Aalish is also a passionate artist, using the creative skills her neurodivergence gives her to express ideas, emotion, and connection in new ways. Driven by empathy and community, she is committed to building a future where every neurodivergent person feels seen, supported, and celebrated.

Matt is deeply passionate about creating safe, supportive spaces and accessible resources for neurodivergent adults — particularly in areas where understanding and services are still developing. Diagnosed with ADHD and Autism, he brings both lived experience and professional expertise to his work with Isle of Neurodiversity.

In his professional life, Matt works as a Compliance Officer, where he combines analytical thinking with a strong sense of fairness and integrity. He also contributes to policy and advocacy on a national level as a lay member of the Isle of Man Government’s Autism Strategy Steering Group, helping to shape a more inclusive future for neurodivergent people across the island.

Outside of work, Matt expresses his creativity as guitarist in two local bands. He believes that by celebrating and supporting neurodivergent adults, we can build a community that truly values every kind of mind.

Jade brings both lived experience and professional insight to her role at Isle of Neurodiversity. Diagnosed autistic in her early 20’s (and with ADHD soon after), she’s spent over a decade navigating and advocating for genuinely inclusive spaces, both as an artist and in her role at the Isle of Man Arts Council.

There, she champions accessible arts and creative opportunities that make a difference to real people both on and off island. As a small business owner and working artist, Jade understands how vital creative expression is for connection, confidence, and wellbeing. She also serves as a lay member of the Isle of Man Government’s Autism Strategy Steering Group for the DHSC, ensuring the voices of neurodivergent people are heard in shaping policy and practice.

Jade is committed to making sure neurodivergent people are not only included, but represented and celebrated across community projects, creative ventures, and policy decisions. She believes everyone deserves to be heard and is passionate about building a more inclusive future for the island.

Selina brings over a decade of senior operations experience and a strong legal background to Isle of Neurodiversity. A passionate advocate for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI), she is deeply committed to creating environments where everyone — neurodivergent or not — can belong, contribute, and thrive.

With a strong interest in neurodivergence, Selina believes that understanding and inclusion benefit everyone, not just those who think differently. She champions the view that neurodivergent people are not broken, just different, and that embracing those differences makes workplaces, communities, and society stronger and more resilient.

Selina believes that true diversity — of thought, experience, and perspective — holds the key to solving some of humanity’s biggest challenges. Her work is driven by the belief that when we empower all minds, we all move forward together.
